Project Overview
The six-storey Edmund Hillary Building at Middlemore Hospital required a comprehensive exterior clean and roof treatment to maintain its presentation and structural integrity in a high-traffic healthcare environment.

Roof treatment to control moss and mould growth
Given the scale and height of the building, our IRATA-trained abseilers safely accessed vertical façades to remove accumulated grit, airborne contaminants and organic growth. At roof level, our facilities technicians carried out a controlled roof wash followed by a treatment application designed to inhibit moss and mould regrowth for 6 to 12 months.
