New Shoots Centre Refurbishment
New Shoots Children’s Centres centre experienced a significant flooding event. Access was engaged to manage the clean-up, and following this, New Shoots took the opportunity to refurbish the centre.
Access was responsible for a substantial portion of the refurbishment, which included:
· Converting laminate flooring areas to polished concrete.
· Full internal repainting of the centre.
· Replacing flood-damaged SDN carpet with high-spec New Zealand wool loop pile carpet.
· Rejuvenating existing polished concrete surfaces.
The refurbishment was completed over a 6-week period, with multiple trades working 7 days a week to meet tight deadlines – all while the centre remained operational. Even Sos, our Business Unit Manager, rolled up his sleeves to help ensure the project was delivered on time and to a high standard.
Despite minor challenges, the project was executed with precision and care and is on track for completion later this week. Throughout the process, New Shoots were incredibly supportive, and their appreciation was felt every step of the way.
